Can your EMR software integrate with other systems?
Happy Charting does not integrate with any other systems. However, it can be used in conjunction with other standalone scheduling, billing or payment platforms.

Are there hidden costs with your EMR software?
Happy Charting does not have any additional hidden costs. We are completely transparent. You will not be charged without your knowledge. When you do a 20 day free trial, we do not take your credit card details, so you won’t be unknowingly charged. All our support and set up implementation is free of charge.
Training and Support
How long does it take to implement your EMR software?
Generally, it takes a weekend for an acupuncturist to get set up. We have 6 training videos about 5mins long, so following those steps can get you set up in 30 mins.
What EMR set up support is available?
We offer 50+ charting templates for you to peruse from. If you like entire templates or specific sections, contact our Happy Charting team with what you like. We have a free Done For You service to set up your templates, favorite chief complaints, points, point treatments and intake forms, free of charge.
What kind of technical support is available?
We offer customer support through email or zoom phone call/video chat. This is available on all plans. We endeavor to be in touch within 12-24 hours of your query.
Compliance & Regulations
Is your EMR software HIPAA Compliant?
Yes, our EMR software complies with all the security and privacy safeguards with HIPAA Act 1996 & HITECH Act 2009.
Does your EMR software support ICD-10 coding?
Whilst we do not integrate specifically with any billing processing software, nor do we create superbills, many clinics can log ICD-10 codes in their patient chart notes or patient information.

How do patients get access to their records through the EMR software?
Happy Charting offers detailed charting history reports for practitioners to download and send as PDFs to patients. Reports can be sent electronically or printed as paper documents to be given to patients.
Switching EMR Systems
Can I switch to a new EMR software if I’m unhappy with my current one?
Absolutely. Most software systems allow a download of the entire patient demographic as a csv. sheet which can be imported into our EMR software.
How difficult is it to transfer data to a new EMR software?
Data migration is made easy with two 7min videos that show you how to organize your patient information csv. list. Once uploaded, our team at Happy Charting will help transfer your patient demographic information into our EMR software.
